Volunteering The ALS Hope Foundation relies on volunteers to keep the organization on target. Volunteers raise over 70 percent of the funds needed to support basic and clinical research, to increase awareness, and to sustain the MDA/ALS Center of Hope at Drexel University College of Medicine.We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help the ALS Hope Foundation continue its mission and keep hope on the horizon. Volunteer opportunities are available in many different areas including; administrative, development, event coordination, patient needs, and caregiver support. The following are just a few of the areas we need volunteer assistance Administrative Grant Writing Database entry and clean up Office support Advocacy Raise awareness in the community Share your story Special Events Underwrite/Host an event Assist in the planning process Find sponsorship and prizes Volunteer at an event MDA/ALS Center of Hope Home visits - run errands, assist with patient care Patient Greeter - make the clinic visit more comfortable and personal Assist clinic staff - spend time with PALS (people with ALS) Contact Jeffrey Deitch at 215-551-0967 or email at |
