FAQs about Clinic

How do I contact someone at the Center?

Office Phone: 267-507-2585

Office Fax: 215-399-5894

Will I receive a diagnosis during my first visit?

If this is your first visit with us and are looking for a diagnosis, please be aware that following your physical examination, the neurologist you see will most likely request specific follow-up tests.

How long will my visit be?

You will meet with multiple team members during your visit, so you should expect to spend either the morning, from 9:00am to 12:00pm, or the afternoon, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, with us. We try to be more efficient by having the physical and occupational therapists travel as a team and speech therapist travel with the nutritionist.

What clinic team members will I see during my visit?

You can expect to see all of the team members during your clinic visit. You will see your neurologist and other healthcare professionals including: nurse coordinator; social worker; respiratory therapist; mental health specialist; physical therapist; occupational therapist; speech language pathologist; and nutritionist. In addition, liaisons from the ALS Hope Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and others are available for questions.
