Dr. Jeffrey Deitch Assumes His Post as Leader of the International Fight against ALS

The ALS Hope Foundation is proud to announce that its Managing Director, Dr. Jeffrey Detich, will assume his role as Chairperson of the International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations at the annual meeting taking place in Chicago this December. Following a meeting of the board on December 1, 2012, Dr. Deitch officially begins his four-year term on December 2nd. During his tenure, Dr. Deitch intends to develop the Alliance's collaboration with international associations, like the World Health Organization. In addition, Dr. Deitch will improve the Alliance's efficacy in uniting organizations in need and funders with an interest in sponsoring their work. By increasing the Alliance's global visibility and encouraging the support of innovative reserach and advocacy, Dr. Deitch is confident that, together, we will find ourselves closer to the cure.
